Plan a pdf and image tools workflow

Rasterizing a document removes interactive behavior and selectable text from the rendered picture. Passwords, fonts, masks and transparency can affect processing. These new document workflows are not implemented in Phase 1.

Decisions before you begin

  • Page selection and order
  • Render resolution or page size
  • Margins and output format

Prepare the task

  1. Check the source page count, image order and any access restrictions.
  2. Choose page placement, page rendering or embedded asset extraction.
  3. Review page boundaries and small text in the resulting document or image.
